Why Content Marketing

TW3 Marketing Bobby Christy Why Content Marketing

Content marketing is the ultimate sales tool and is the hottest marketing strategy these days. For good reason, too.

Content marketing, if done correctly, gets your message out to the world. It allows you to become a category of one which is important if you want to grow your business and make more money.

Making more money is why you’re in business in the first place, isn’t it?

So why should I invest in content marketing?

  1. It’s directed marketing. It’s not meant for mass consumption. It’s designed to speak directly to your ideal customer, client, or patient.
  2. It builds trust and credibility which is the cornerstone of your business.
  3. It also a value proposition because provides important information that helps lead to a buying decision which in the long run allows you more easily sell your products, goods and services.

Content Marketing vs Traditional Marketing

Traditional marketing (e.g., TV commercials, billboards) has been used for decades to build name recognition with the masses. It’s not specific or targeted which means that it’s not measurable. Content marketing is targeted which means that it can be measured for its cost effectiveness.

Another advantage of content marketing is that your message can be delivered to your ideal customer/client via the digital channel that they are most receptive to. This leads to top-of-mind awareness which is where you want to be.

Messages received via the preferred channel mean higher conversion rates and higher sales volume.

And lastly… It’s what real companies do. It’s authentic and helps build a community around your brand. Content marketing is a long-term strategy that builds trust, authority, and relationships over time. It’s not a quick fix solution.

Content marketing is the most effective way to reach your customers, build your brand and build your audience.

So if you haven’t started using content marketing yet, now’s the time!
